AGE: 52 • Atlantic Highlands
Robert Scott Barratt, 52, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. He was born in Chester, PA and resided in the shore area before moving to Atlantic Highlands in 1996. Mr. Barratt was currently employed by the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local #9. He received his BA degree from East Stroudsburg University, and was an avid hockey and Philadelphia Flyers fan. He also enjoyed cooking and was a model airplane hobbyist. Mr. Barratt was predeceased by his parents, Robert A. and Mary Louise Barratt.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Murray Barratt, a son, James and wife Laura Murray of Easton, Pa and grandson, Wyatt. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Cindy and husband Don Koeneman of Glenside, PA, Cathy and husband Vic Marteinsson of Parksburg, PA, a nephew, Todd Koeneman, cousins, Kathy, Richard Max and Ally Altman along with the entire Murray family.
Funeral Services Wednesday at 10 AM From Posten's Funeral Home, (www.Postensfuneralhome.com) 59 E. Lincoln Ave. at Central & E. Garfield Ave. Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
Relatives & friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society,c/o St. Agnes RC Church, 103 Center Ave. Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716.
